I started the book on the 29th of January and found it beautifully illustrated and an easy read straight away — the kind that captivates your heart. The further in I got, the more breathtaking it became. It filled me with joy and wisdom.
What struck me most was how Denis doesn't front-load his own story — he spreads it out as you read, and it weaves itself into the pages a little at a time. That gave the whole thing a real feel-good factor; it brought me back home to who I really am. The language resonated with my own sense of truth. I've since passed the link on to so many people. It's a life-changing read and yet such a simple one — a book of healing, and a book of change.

I absolutely love how relatable this book is, no matter what you're going through or what age you are — it just relates to everyone. It gives a whole new perspective on how you see your own life, your mental health, and the relationships you have with yourself and others.
I love how honestly it's written. It had me in tears of sadness and joy at the same time, and I can't quite explain it, but it felt like it was written that way on purpose — like it was helping me release a lot as I read through it. I've already told all my friends what they're getting for Christmas. Every household needs a copy.

Like with any review, I wanted to read the book front to back before writing an honest one. I started last Friday and honestly couldn't put it down. I found it both inspirational and enlightening — Denis has a genuinely intriguing story to tell, and the way he tells it is smart and eloquent.
As others have said here, it's not a book you read just once — it's one you come back to for reference, and I'm so glad I read it. My favourite line from it is simple: "Life is about living." Looking forward to the next book.
